Während in Deutschland, speziell in den Großstädten, bürgerkriegsähnlich Zustände herrschen ob der Feuerwerksorgien, ist der Jahreswechsel in Frankreich sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Ich sage es mal so: Wir haben unser Geld für Champagner statt für Feuerwerk ausgegeben und haben mit Freunden gegessen und uns mit dem Champagner „betrunken“. New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in France
While in Germany, especially in the major cities, the fireworks displays are causing near-civil war, the turn of the year in France is very peaceful and cozy. Let’s put it this way: We spent our money on champagne instead of fireworks, ate with friends, and got a little tipsy. A happy and healthy New Year to everyone.
